Ashbourne Alpaca Yarns, are contemporary knitting yarns made from beautiful alpaca fleeces produced by Ashbourne Alpaca stud; one of the largest alpaca studs in the Central Highlands of Victoria that breed quality white and coloured huacayas.

Ashbourne Alpaca Yarn is committed to producing knitting yarns that are 100% Australian grown and produced.  Many of our yarns can be individually traced back to the animal that grew the fleece from which the yarn was produced. We use fleeces from our own alpaca herd and those we've sourced from local Australian producers to ensure the quality of the raw material that we use and to create a truly local product.
